Individual Therapy

Individual Therapy

You can’t always choose what shows up—but you can choose how you show up.

Whether you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, or working through grief, identity shifts, or relationship stress—therapy can help you slow down, reconnect, and move forward with clarity.

You don’t need to have it all figured out to start. You're allowed to be in process. You're allowed to still be learning.

Who I Work With

I offer individual therapy for adults (18+) in Maryland and California through secure telehealth.

Clients often come to therapy with me navigating:

  • Emotional burnout, anxiety, and high-functioning perfectionism

  • Parenthood transitions, identity shifts, and postpartum distress

  • Past trauma or recent ruptures that are hard to shake

  • Health-related stress, chronic conditions, and nervous system dysregulation

Whether you’re overwhelmed by intrusive worries, grieving the loss of the parenthood you imagined, or silently wondering if you’re “doing it wrong,” therapy can help you find space, steadiness, and support. You're not alone, and you’re not broken—you’re in a profound process of becoming.

  • I work with new and expecting parents navigating the often-overwhelming emotional, physical, and identity shifts that accompany parenthood.

    This includes support around:

      • Perinatal and Postpartum Anxiety (PPA)

      • Postpartum Depression (PPD)

      • Postpartum OCD (e.g., distressing intrusive thoughts, compulsive checking)

      • Traumatic Birth Experiences and Postpartum PTSD

      • Grief and Perinatal Loss, including miscarriage, stillbirth, and medical termination

      • Identity Shifts and Role Transitions, especially for first-time or NICU parents

      • Caregiving Burnout, emotional depletion, and loss of self

      • Adjustment Difficulties, especially when parenthood looks or feels different than expected

    • Feeling stuck in patterns of self-criticism, hyper-responsibility, imposter thoughts, or the pressure to always be “on.”

    • Perfectionism (relentless high standards, high self criticism)

    • Generalized Anxiety

    • Social Anxiety

    • Phobias

    • Panic Attacks

    • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

  • Whether it’s a past wound that resurfaces under stress or a recent experience that feels hard to name—therapy offers space to safely unpack and heal.

    • Acute Trauma

    • Chronic Trauma

    • Complex Trauma

  • Living with chronic illness, invisible conditions, or the stress of navigating health systems can shape how you relate to your body, identity, and energy. I hold space for that too.

    • Stress Management

    • Sleep Irregularities

    • Conflict Resolution and Decision Making

    • Social and/or Communication Skills

    • Relationship Concerns

    • Life Transitions (school to work/work to school, break up, divorce, job loss)

    • Identities Exploration and Affirmation

You don’t need to wait until you’re in crisis to start healing. And you don’t have to do it alone.
