Transparent & Compassionate Pricing

Clarity, accessibility, and fair pricing.

I offer a free 20-minute phone or video consultation for anyone curious about working together. It’s a chance to explore your goals, ask questions, and see whether my approach and specialties are the right fit for your needs.

Therapy is an investment in your well-being. I believe in transparent pricing and flexible options to support your access to care without compromising on clinical depth or integrity. My services are offered virtually for adults in California and Maryland, with limited spots available for sliding scale clients.

Availability and Fees:

I provide services to clients who are 18 years and older in the San Francisco Bay Area, across California, and in Maryland. At this time, I exclusively offer video sessions, and I will make updates to this page when additional options become available.

Research indicates that telehealth is as effective as in-person care for the issues I typically address. In the phone consultation and intake phase, I will assess your condition to ensure we can effectively work together online. If I find that you need in-person care, I will provide referrals.

Please reach out for my current fees. My fees reflect typical rates for psychologists in both California and Maryland. I have a few sliding scale slots for those with financial needs. Of note, payment is due at the time of the session by cash, Zelle, HSA cards, or debit/credit cards.

Insurance:

I accept Lyra and Modern Health policies and file a claim on your behalf. I also accept clients from the Lotus Therapy Fund, which covers eight sessions for those who identify as Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI).

Please note, I do not accept any other types of insurance directly. If needed, I am happy to generate a billing statement (called a superbill) that you can forward to your insurance company to seek reimbursement. Many health insurance plans will reimburse for treatment provided by a licensed psychologist, even if they are out of network. However, plans vary widely, and you are responsible for determining your insurance benefits and obtaining reimbursement.
