Fertility, perinatal, & Postpartum therapy

Support for every season of growing your family, from trying to conceive to life with a newborn, and the hard, unexpected moments in between.

Virtual therapy for individuals and couples in Maryland and California.

Whatever this chapter holds, you don't have to carry it alone.

The path to parenthood rarely looks the way we imagined. It can hold hope and heartbreak, waiting and wonder, love and exhaustion, sometimes all in the same day. Whether you're trying to conceive, pregnant, recovering from a loss, or adjusting to life with a baby, it makes sense if you feel anxious, flat, overwhelmed, or unlike yourself.

I offer a steady, judgment-free space to make sense of what you're feeling, reconnect with what matters to you, and find your footing, wherever you are on the road.

Trying to conceive and infertility

When growing your family is harder than you hoped

The waiting, the testing, the hoping. It's a roller coaster.

Infertility can quietly take over a life: calendars built around cycles, two-week waits, appointments, injections, and the ache of other people's announcements. Many people feel isolated, grieve month after month, or struggle with guilt, envy, or a sense that their body has let them down. These are human responses to a hard experience, not signs that you're doing something wrong.

Together, we can work on:

  • The emotional roller coaster of trying to conceive, IUI, IVF, and other treatment

  • Anxiety during waiting periods and after test results

  • Grief after a negative test, failed cycle, or pregnancy loss

  • Decisions about treatment, donor conception, surrogacy, adoption, or pausing or stopping

  • Secondary infertility, and the particular loneliness it can bring

  • Strain on your relationship, intimacy, and finances

  • Family-building for LGBTQ+ couples and single parents by choice

Pregnancy & Postpartum

You're not failing. You're adjusting.

Pregnancy and the first years of parenthood are among the biggest transitions a person can go through. Perinatal mood and anxiety concerns are among the most common complications of pregnancy and postpartum, and they are treatable.

You might be navigating:

  • Anxiety, racing worries, or intrusive thoughts during pregnancy or after birth

  • Postpartum depression, numbness, irritability, or feeling disconnected from your baby

  • A birth or pregnancy that didn't go as planned, or that still feels frightening to remember

  • Pregnancy after a loss, and the fear that can come with it

  • Identity shifts: who you were, who you're becoming, and the grief in between

  • Relationship shifts while parenting

  • Returning to work, or deciding not to

  • Cultural and family expectations about what a "good" parent looks like

You don't need a diagnosis, or the right words, to reach out.

How I work

Evidence-based, culturally humble, and grounded in your values.

I draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you make room for hard feelings without letting them run your life, and to stay close to what matters most to you, even when the outcome is out of your hands. For couples, I integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help you understand your patterns and turn back toward each other.

As a first-generation Filipina American clinician, I know that family-building and parenthood are shaped by culture, faith, family, and community. We'll honor all of it, including the expectations you want to keep and the ones you're ready to set down.
